A 16th century hair & beard balm with an amazing, seductive scent!
We source this from a Renaissance recipe to invigorate the hair & scalp. Written in 1572 by Girolamo Mercuriale in his book De morbis cutaneis.
Labdanum gives rich notes of leather, amber, and resin. Myrtle brings a green, herbaceous freshness, complemented by the subtle spice of bay laurel. Cinnamon adds a final touch of warmth, tying the blend together.
To use, warm a little between the palms and buff lightly into beard, hair, or split ends. Can also be used as a solid cologne.
Ingredients: Tallow, Cinnamon) oil, Bay laurel) oil.
