We sourced Roman Gladiator Body Oil from a recipe from Pliny the Elder in Naturalis Historia written in 77 AD. It is made with bay laurel and myrtle in olive oil.
In modern skincare, myrtle and laurel are purported to have astringent and deodorizing properties, and are good for post-exercise massage.
We suggest to use this body oil after the gymnasium.
